  •  Oppose I find the scope too narrow. Surely we are not going to have a scope for every separate building on a university campus site? Lycaon (talk) 14:47, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Info I understand your concern, but I do not think you should be so hasty to dismiss the scope. The Wikipedia community has deemed this structure in and of itself to be notable. Only a small handful of hundreds of campus buildings have met that criterion. In addition to its current importance as an icon of Cornell University, this building also happens to be one of the earliest examples of a student union in North America, giving it historical notability. And it was the flashpoint for racial tensions in 1969, being taken over in an immensely high-profile armed insurrection. Go ahead and decline this based upon the suitability of the image if you wish to, but please do not dismiss the legitimacy of the scope without seeking more information first. --Notyourbroom (talk) 19:22, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose For me the scope makes it over my relevance bar, but I do not think the photo illustrates the subject well enough; the angle is unfortunate. The branches of the large tree in the foreground are distracting. I guess you are having space problems again? How about standing directly to the west of the building. Would that not give a better view? Perhaps using the stitch technique . --Slaunger (talk) 20:54, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
