I open a MVR with the geocoded alternative quoted above. --Myrabella (talk) 19:20, 13 February 2011 (UTC)  Comment To defend this nomination: the nominated image depicts a maturing wheat field in an important production region; it is used in WP articles but also in external websites, illustrating articles about wheat production or other agricultural topics; one can discern wheat ears in the foregound-and also a red poppy, which used to be very frequent in wheat fields but less now because of weedkiller treatments. Moreover, in economic terms, EU-27 is the major world wheat producer (1), and within EU-27, France is the biggest wheat producer (2, 3). It is one of the reasons I think this image is especially valuable for the topic. --Myrabella (talk) 09:42, 14 February 2011 (UTC)  Comment No problem for geocoding at all. That one i stated is on many sites, since i am not author i dont know on how many outside usements was, but i am pretty sure it was around, picture is good. Idaho after all, large fields of all-kind and big machines. If scope would be "...in EU. Or in France" then "EU 27" would have some meaning, but in Europe Russia and Ukraine. --Mile (talk) 13:21, 14 February 2011 (UTC)  Comment: Note that the source given for the world production share is a U.S. one, and it speaks of EU-27(fas.usda.gov).
