  • I'd prefer something like , but it's too small. So I  Support this. --Ikar.us (talk) 17:24, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Does the Harcourt Watermark/signature count for criteria 3 (No distracting, irrelevant elements (this can be mitigated if it is hard to re-establish the scenario)), if yes, the watermark guideline says that a new version should be created without the watermark and nominate it instead of this version. Esby (talk) 22:47, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • IMO, the signature adds value to the picture. Yann (talk) 07:40, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      •  CommentAbbé Pierre is presented as a "social activist", an he was. I'm not sure that a picture made by "Studio Harcourt" depicts the subject very well... "Studio Harcourt" is a very expensive and very snob professionnal photo studio...--Jebulon (talk) 14:39, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
        • He was poised enough to reject the highest award the French government offers. So if he posed for that photo, he probably endorsed it. --Ikar.us (talk) 14:46, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
        • He was also a catholic priest and a member of parliament, so he had a personality much richer than that. Yann (talk) 15:27, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
        •  Comment"social activist" is not my qualification, it is in the description page of this file. Well... He was Grand Officer of the Légion d'Honneur too, which is the second highest dignity of this Order. Furthermore, Maybe, for him, to be a catholic priest, a Resistant during WW2, a Member of Parliament during the fifties, was a way to be a "social activist" ? Let me think so...--Jebulon (talk) 10:17, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
