I might have overdone it with saturation. Following your suggestion, here is a new version with less saturation in red channel and tweaked temperature/tint. I don’t want to go any further as it will make it look bleak. I specifically reprocessed this file in newer version of Lightroom to get more true to life appearance. To me it looks golden/orange to match the last moments of the golden hour before sunset. I think it is closer to the original light as the sunset colors can be intense. Also newer versions have more detail and dynamic range. The original is 10+ years old and was batch-processed with older software and original temperature settings that may be wrong. --Argenberg (talk) 22:12, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Oppose Only 2,797 × 1,865 pixels and the bird in this image is very small. The background is too dominant in my opinion. Useful document, but not all the useful images on Commons should be featured. For a FP of a bird, you need at least to be able to see some fine details of the animals at full resolution, not only the branches where it lives.     Thank you for your review. In my opinion it can not be expected the same level of detail for a small and shy bird where there is only a few seconds window to take a picture of it without possibility to go closer to it compared to pictures of still objects. Also, we have FP pictures of birds that have the same if not less definition than this one : 1, 2.   • When comparing the size in pixels of the two images you give, the first one is 3 times larger, and the second one 2 times. So both may actually have more definition. Moreover, almost all the birds in the FP galleries are much larger than this one. The possibility to get closer is also very subjective. The more time you spend to capture a specific animal, the more opportunities you get. But this same day you also captured photos of Chimpanzees. Since it is a sports watch, why didn't you place it on some background that is associated with sports or even outdoors and not 'expensive-looking', like a rock, in front of water ("water 50m resist"), on sand, or perhaps AstroTurf/grass that would have set off the orange so well rather than trying to match it. I think even the fabric of a sports bag would have been better. Keeping the watch in context would make a great photo. --Cart (talk) 11:51, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Green on orange, are you sure Cart ? I dont think its good idea. For "water" (all Casio are water resistant) but using water as back i would use other model for diving (Frogman). Rock, could be, but i would apply it at G-Shock series - strong structure and stonger material. I think green and orange are two vibrant colors that go great together. I always think of those colors as colors for stadiums where sports events take place. And there are a lot of other options for sports backgrounds, just use your imagination (or a Google search for ideas).   • To be honest, I had expected improvements in the original picture, not a different one, but as they are pretty similar I have no problem with that. The noise level is good in the current version and I also prefer the POV/angle in this version. The halo is overcorrected so that you can see a grey halo around the statue but in the inner side with no saturation. I also agree with the lighting comments. I prefered the lighting of the original version and the WB too. I'd weak support if you fix the halo and brigthen it a bit Poco a poco (talk) 19:52, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks. Regarding CA, I don't see any serious CA in those areas? The strange thing is there was CA around there in the previous version of the page. Is it possible you have a cached version?
