Oversaturaded? That's what it actually looked like at the place the picture was taken. Cannot argue about DOF but I think it brings out the head. --Dschwen 20:17, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

Yes, I've been to such places in the US. But still... it makes the picture somewhat difficult to appreciate (not enough contrast between the reptile and the background). Maybe a different position with respect to light would have helped? As for depth-of-field, if you have a camera with semi-manual settings, you can achieve it in such sunny situations by selecting a small aperture (I realize that it's not easy when you're in a hurry).
