- Comment Very striking composition but the saturation looks a little bit much to me. The green of the grass especially is very bright and it doesn't look quite real to me. Also the gallery is wrong; the correct gallery would be Commons:Featured pictures/Places/Architecture/Exteriors#Italy Cmao20 (talk) 14:59, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, I corrected the gallery.87.18.128.132 18:37, 21 August 2020 (UTC)PROPOLI8787.18.128.132 18:37, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Nice composition. I don't think even the trees in the right middleground are sharp enough for FP, though - after all, FP is a high bar to clear. A sharper similar photo in more interesting light and/or with some nice clouds could be featurable. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:09, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you! Unfortunately no clouds now on the sky of Florence, it is not raining at all and we are risking drought! As soon as there is a good storm I will run to Piazzale Michelangelo to take pictures!PROPOLI87 (talk) 13:05, 22 August 2020 (UTC)PROPOLI87PROPOLI87 (talk) 13:05, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- You could also try a sunrise or sunset. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 13:07, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Not only technical issues, but composition seems kind of random to me. Daniel Case (talk) 14:48, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- I respect your opinion, but for the composition I would like to point out that I framed in the same photo, Porta San Niccolò with its Fountain, Piazza del Poggi, and in the background the Duomo with Brunelleschi's dome, the Campanile di Giotto and even Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria. And all this was neither easy nor taken for granted. Everything that tourists go to visit in Florence, all in one photo. As a tourist note, I specify that the "Rampe del Poggi" depart from Porta San Niccolò with the wonderful fountains that lead to Piazzale Michelangelo.PROPOLI87 (talk) 07:00, 24 August 2020 (UTC)PROPOLI87PROPOLI87 (talk) 07:00, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
