- Info created by Hippolyte Berteaux (1848-1928)- uploaded by Selbymay - nominated by Jebulon -- Jebulon (talk) 15:14, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Support This picture of the ceiling of the "Théâtre Graslin" in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France, painting by Hippolyte Berteaux, photograph by Selbymay. We have numerous FP of ceilings of churches or castles or palaces, but not so many of ceilings of theaters. This one is nice and typical of french academic painting at the end of 19th century-beginning of the 20th. - Support but I think the fake background is unfortunate here. Tomer T (talk) 20:26, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Comment Why is the light not even? Yann (talk) 08:17, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
- Support Info Thanks for the nomination. The light is not even because there were secondary sources of light in the theatre at this moment, maybe on purpose if we consider the subjects of the painting. --Selbymay (talk) 09:38, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
