•  Comment - Great capture [smile], but what's deterred me from voting for the picture is that the degree of blur at the hairy margin of the leaf distracts me, especially since some of the green parts of the leaf seem less blurred. If you feel inspired, you could try doing something to make the background more relaxing to look at, so that it's easier to concentrate more singlemindedly on the act of violence being perpetrated below. :-) -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:43, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

• Agree. I also find the DoF too shallow. Although I know the difficulty for such small and close subjects without focus stacking, at full size the legs and the leaf are repulsive (more repulsive than the spider itself :-)).
