- Info This is a partial view of the Gothic frescoes dating back to the year 1400 in St. Agatha Church in Leveste in the Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany. The whole church is lined with such frescoes. At the time this church had also the function of a newspaper such as the German newspaper today "Bildzeitung". Who stood in church and looked up into the vault realized there people of high society. As a result, came into being for persons of high society the German name "die da oben". Later, the frescoes were painted over with white paint. In 1924, the frescoes were discovered and exposed. Today the frescoes for scientists, film directors, actors and costume designers have a great importance because it is the fashion of 1400 original show. --Michael Gäbler (talk) 16:54, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
