Borujerdi House, Kashan, Iran
Thanks Mr Benh. That's your kind. Persian architectural is very rich and full of beauties. yes, unfortunately after revolution they did it. after revolution there was dogmatism thoughts. now even Fundamentalist don't do such things in this level.--Amirpashaei (talk) 18:23, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry but I have to say this as an Iranian, Iran lost a golden opportunity, and with this revolution, we have gone back in history. --Gnosis (talk) 05:48, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I asked the Public Relations Manager of Kashan's heritages about the faces. he said after buying this place from owners, paintings were worn out and in Restoration process they could not Recreate the faces. because they haven't any pictures from the original faces.I'm sorry for false information. --Amirpashaei (talk) 08:29, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think knowing the context of their removal is more than enough. It's only factual and with no opinion. Thanks a lot for the investigation. I'll add that bit of information in the caption if you are fine with that. - Benh (talk) 09:11, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • After some thought, I won't mention that in the caption. It's hard to think it isn't voluntary that only the faces were washed out/removed/used, but it is not clear who could have done this. Sorry for disrupting. - Benh (talk) 09:26, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
