- Support -- I've really never seen a picture concerning lightning before like this. That's gonna be featured I am sure. Alborzagros (talk) 07:40, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

- Support Could be larger and with less noise, but the GIF format certainly gives lightning a huge "wow" factor. --King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 18:05, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

- Oppose Animated GIFs are so last century. We've now got proper digital video formats with enormously richer image quality than a GIF's 256 colour pallete and HD resolution is absolutely the norm (this isn't even SD resolution). Each frame is dreadful to look at, with heavy posterisation. There's generally no way to stop the animation in one's browser, which is extremely annoying when trying to read the web page. There's no way for this image to be reused other than on the web. There's a reason why no professional web page published in the last 10 years contain animated GIFs. - Oppose Interesting idea, but agree with Colin. Quality is not sufficient. Yann (talk) 12:20, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. --Ivar (talk) 06:56, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
