Bastique for bureaucrat

I know we've had a few issues with finding bureaucrats lately. I've been an active sysop of Commons since December of 2005 and have a substantial amount of edits. (see Edit count). I'm also regularly available via IRC, even when I'm not actively on site.

I believe I've proven my reliability as an administrator of this project.

Arguments: He uploaded a copyrighted stamp of the Falklands instead of a German stamp in order to replace the image Image:Vollschiff Preussen.jpg. This should not happen being a future bureaucrat. --ALE! ¿…? 16:30, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, anyone reading this should note, I uploaded the image I saw on the link that ALE! him/herself provided, in an attempt to close a debate. ALE! could have uploaded the correct image himself. I trusted that ALE!'s information was accurate in uploaded the information as ALE! is an active and established editor. It was a short-term lack of judgment. You should read the discussion and think an instant before you do something. I was talking about a German stamp being a good replacement for the photo. Not a Falkland Stamp. Besides you did not correct the description page of the image.
