There were up to 50 bicycle manufacturers under the umbrella of the imperium. Best remembered are the Columbia bicycles. Pope's vehicle trust broke in 1909, but most of its motor vehicle manufacturers were sold or closed before the end of 1908

  • Columbia Automobile Company‎, later Columbia Motor Car Company‎, built in Hartford, Conn.
Went under when the United States Motor Co. of Benjamin Briscoes failed
  • Pope-Hartford automobiles and Pope motorcycles, built in Hartford, Conn. Merged with Columbia in 1909
  • Pope-Robinson automobiles, built in Hyde Park, Mass. 1902-1904
Predecessor was the Robinson Motor Vehicle Company
  • Pope-Toledo automobiles, built steam and gasoline cars in Toledo, Ohio.
Predecessor was the International Motor Car Company in Toledo which offered steamers only by the name of Billings
  • Pope-Tribune automobiles, built in Hagerstown, Maryland 1904-1908. These were Pope's price leaders
  • Waverley (1900-1903) and Pope-Waverley (1904-1908) electric automobiles, built in Indianapolis, Ind.
Predecessor was the Waverley Mfg. Company (est. 1898) which was bought in 1900 an then a subsidiary of the American Bicycle Company (Popes ill-fated bicycle trust), of the International Motor Car Co., and then Pope-Toledo. After a management buy out in 1908 the company stayed in business until 1916.
