Object history Sold at the artist's auction on October 2, 1893 (no. 50) to the lawyer Victor Fischer for DKK 100. L. A. Ring sold a number of paintings on that occasion to finance his 1894 travels, which also brought him to Italy.
Winkel & Magnussen auction 269, 1940 no. 205, depicted page 39.
Kunsthallen auction 295, 1971, no. 176, depicted page 17.
Sold at Bruun Rasmussen Auctions on May 31, 2001 for DKK 44,000 (EUR 5,900), (Lot 695/1662).
