Summary[edit]

Description
English: MODIS map of Hielo Patagónico Sur (Southern Patagonia Icefield), 2002-4. This image map was compiled by averaging seven cloud-free images acquired by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on 5, 16 and 17 February 2002; 5, 6 and 7 February 2004; and 10 March 2004. The image served as the basis for deriving snowline altitudes for the Southern Patagonia Icefield that were reported in the paper:
