English: A co-dominant joint is 2 competing primaries in a tree joint, instead of a more ball-in-socket joint where only one is primary and engulfs the other to a deep, round bonding and no definitive shear line separation. A codom by contrast gives a potential shear line between the 2 wings, instead of a more dove tailed or ball-in-joint imagery engagement.
