These non-biodegradable nets and devices can continue to catch fish and marine organisms for centuries, but would eventually be integrated into the reef as and when it grows Français : Un scientifique de la NOAA remonte au moyen de sacs gonflés d'air des filets et engins de pêche accrochés et abandonnés sur les récifs des atolls de Pearl et Hermes. Ces filets et engins non biodégradables peuvent continuer à piéger des poissons et organismes marins durant des siècles, mais ils auraient fini par être intégré dans le récif au fur et à mesure de sa croissance |
